Nick Franchina
Founder/Partner
A Greenville native, Nick Franchina brings more than two decades of experience in real estate, development, and finance to Brick and Mortar Funding. After launching Access Realty in 1999 and growing it into one of the Upstate’s leading brokerages—with more than 30 residential and commercial agents and a 500+ property management portfolio—Nick expanded his focus into lending and capital markets. In 2009, he helped launch Regent Bank, where he served on the Board of Directors and Loan Committee, gaining deep insight into credit evaluation and lending structure. Today, Nick applies that expertise to provide common-sense, asset-backed lending solutions through Brick and Mortar Funding. Having developed more than 50 residential communities totaling over 4,000 homes across the Upstate, Nick understands every side of the deal from the ground up.
Zach Roberts
Partner
A Greenville native and Furman University graduate, Zach Roberts began his real estate career at just 18 years old after earning his real estate license. While attending Furman, he gained hands-on experience brokering residential and commercial transactions, laying the groundwork for a deep understanding of real estate from a buyer, seller, and developer perspective.
Alongside Nick, Zach has helped develop numerous residential communities throughout the Upstate, contributing to the region’s rapid growth. At Brick and Mortar Funding, Zach oversees the underwriting and management of loans, structuring terms, coordinating funding, and maintaining strong relationships with borrowers. His background in real estate development and market analysis allows him to craft practical, asset-backed lending solutions tailored to each borrower’s needs.
